Chainlink Launches Automated Compliance Engine to Bridge Institutional Capital with Onchain Finance
Chainlink has unveiled its Automated Compliance Engine (ACE), a modular solution designed to address compliance challenges in onchain finance. Built on the chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE), ACE aims to facilitate institutional adoption by enabling compliant digital assets across public and private blockchains. The initiative could unlock over $100 trillion in institutional capital for the onchain economy.
Key collaborators include Apex Group, GLEIF, and the ERC-3643 Association. Currently in early access for select institutions, ACE supports critical use cases such as reusable digital identities, cross-chain compliant settlements, and regulated DeFi asset usage. "The integration of vLEI demonstrates how verifiable identity can enhance blockchain compliance," noted a spokesperson, highlighting the growing convergence of traditional and decentralized finance.
